Being an active person, Carolina always thought of yoga to be slow and boring. That was until she stepped on the mat to try her first Bikram class. Although challenging, it taught her to be patient with both herself and her body. As her love for the practice deepened with discipline and awareness on the mat, she was driven to attain her certification in Hatha and Yin yoga.
David began practicing yoga as a way to seek inner peace, balance and tranquillity in his daily life.
As a motivated individual who strives for the best, his dedication to the practice led him to constantly strive to accomplish the more challenging poses in his yoga flows.
Dawn was introduced to Yoga as a teenager due to sports related injuries. Since then she has since made it an important part of her life and wants to share the benefits with those around her. She started her training with YogaFit in 2001 and completed her 200-hour training with Sivananda Yoga Vedanta in 2005.
Desmond’s yoga journey began after experiencing a lower back injury back in 2014 as a result of incorrect posture during a workout. Ever since the first yoga lesson, he felt so much relief from his lower back condition and continue to practice yoga regularly.
Dorota discovered yoga as a teenager initially being drawn to its physical aspect. Within time she has developed a strong interest in yoga philosophy which lead her to attending a teacher training course and to spending couple of years in India .
Grace Lee began her yoga journey some 30+ years ago. In 2010 she received her yoga teacher certification and attended a few yoga retreats in India.
Kimberly started the practice of yoga in 2006 and found it to be a tool to facilitate awareness while reaping the physical and physiological benefits. The transformation she received over the years through regular yoga practice has honed her focus and refined her in building both the physical and psychological strength to assimilate changes in her life.
Leticia loved dancing and working out since she was young back in Indonesia. Having studied and worked in the United States, she moved to Singapore after having her first child in 2010.
She discovered Zumba Fitness in 2012 and realized that being physically active and inspiring people to have healthy lifestyles was what filled her soul with joy and excitement.
Combining her love for teaching and yoga, Nicole jumped into a yoga teacher training course with True yoga after a few years of practicing Bikram yoga. From then, her teaching style and knowledge have evolved with the influence of different teachers she's studied under like Jo Phee and Tiffany Cruikshank and also her training as a Pilates Matwork instructor (from both Fletcher's and Stott's Pilates).
